MONTHLY MEETING
The regular MONTHLY MEETING is generally held the first Thursday of every month at the Depot starting at 7pm. Our next meeting Thursday, February 2nd, at 7pm.

OCTOBER 31 - HALLOWEEN PARADE
The annual Halloween Parade will line up at the high school beginning at 5:30. The parade gets underway at 6:00 wandering through the village on its way to the Remsen Depot.

OCTOBER 14 - WINE TASTING TRAIN
The Depot will host the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's monthly wine tasting train. The train departs from Union Station, Utica, for the 50 minute ride to Remsen. AUGUST 15 - UTICA MONDAY NITE 0N THE ROAD TRhe Remsen Depot will co-host with Capel Enlii an addition of Utica Monday Nite - One the Road. Tours will be giving of the depot grounds and buildings along with some history of the site. Go to the Utica Monday Nite web site for further details.

A concert featuring Don Cantwell and the Cleff Dwellers will be held at 6:30pm. This concert will be held at the new Remsen Arts Center not at the Depot.

JULY 15 - WELSH RAILROAD SIGN UNVEILING
The Depot is receiving the official sign from the railroad station in Wales that has the honor of having the longest name of any station. The sign will be presented by representatives of the Welsh government. It will be on permanent display at the Depot. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided. The station is Llanfairpwllgwyngllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliiogogogoch which means St. Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio by the red cave. The ceremony begins at 7pm.
JULY 12 - SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The Depot will host a free concert this evening. At 6pm the MVBGA Players with Dick Satterley with perform. They will be followed at 7pm by Cincinnati Creek. Bring a blanket or chair. Refreshments are available for purchase. Donations will be accepted for the new Remsen Arts Center.
JULY 9 - ELVIS DAY!
The Depot will host a special train cosponsored by the Adirondack Scenic Railroad and The Soda Fountain. For tickets and information contact the railroad at 724-0700.

JUNE 4 - OPEN HOUSE 1 - 3 pm
In conjunction with many other historic sites throughout Oneida County, the Remsen Depot and many other sites will be open for viewing from 1 - 3pm this afternoon. Depot volunteers will be available to answer questions about the history of the depot and its projects.

APRIL 30 - NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD HISTORICAL SOCIETY CHARTER TRAIN
The Depot will host the members of the society during a photo stop on their charter excursion from Utica to Thendara and return.
APRIL 23 -- EASTER BUNNY EXPRESS
The Depot will join in the fun of the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's 3rd annual Easter Bunny Express. Trains will depart from Holland Patent at 10, 12 & 2. Passengers will board at Holland Patent for the 1/2 hour ride to Remsen with the Easter bunny on board (don't forget the camera). He will then host an egg hunt at Remsen before the return trip to Holland Patent. Light refreshments will be available for purchase at Remsen. The Depot will host an informal concert by Rattlin' Bog starting at 7pm. Admission is $2. Refreshment will be available - donations appreciated. Join us for our first event of the new year. A chance to get out and renew some friendships and listen to great music.
